super black hawk ?? some have fluted cylinders and some don't . the one i am getting is fluted , my sons is not .Will mine handle the same loads ? I have heard about Ruger only loads , will my fluted cylinder handle them , will his ?

First of all talk to any good gun designer/metallurgical person and they will tell you FLUTES DO NOT AFFECT THE LOADING OF A REVOLVER - PERIOD!

Fluting on a revolver is just for prettiness and has no effect on the capabilities of a gun [UNLESS somebody bores out an original cylinder to a much larger size than originally designed].

This topic has been discussed numerous times over the years on Ruger, S&W, and even in the Handgun Threads of some rifle forums.
