Bowen rear sight and Colt steel ejector rod & housing. The only problem is the front sight isn't high enough. She'll clean the Turkey's @ 150 yards & the Ram silhouette's at 200 yards.

It sure is pretty. Can you not install a higher front sight? I have an Old Army and a .45 Blackhawk convertable that both have a much higher front sight than yours.

The Old Models don't have pinned sights that are easily replaced without major work. I have the same problem with all the OM's. The Ruger GP100 has the best setup for the front sight height problem.

Tuco Tom, nice looking old horse pistol! There was a post on the other Ruger Forum sometime back about using J.B. Weld to build up a front sight on the Old Models. Sixshot was the poster.
