I had the same problem. And I asked on a few forums for a solution and found no real help
But after persisting and searching and using a slew of different key word searches I foumd this:
Amazon.com: Airgun/.22 Bi-directional Cantilever 1" Ring Mount: Sports & Outdoors
Works like a charm and brings the eyepiece back about 1.5 inches.
The thing is solid as a rock and hasn't moved on the rail at all after 600rds.
I found similar mounts for up to $80 and even more. I opted to try this inexpensive one first and planned to return it it it was no good.
Works fine. I'm keeping it.
