Links to Taurus' single action Gaucho revolvers on their website haven't worked for a few months now. Anybody know if they still make those? Personally I prefer the Vaquero, but just curious.
From what I have heard, the entire Gaucho line was plagued by lemony goodness. I think they just got tired of taking returns and trying to repair them.
I picked one up a couple years ago to be used as a chores / beater gun for a price I couldn't pass up. Guess maybe I lucked out with a good one. I does have a transfer bar, shoots to point of aim, locks up tight and has a very good trigger with a light, four click hammer. For an inexpensive beater gun, I like it more than I thought I would.
