I tried posting this before as it is pretty much the last guide you will ever need, but there were copyright issues and I was asked to take it down. But hot-linking is allowed for the article, I believe, so here it is if anyone wants to read it.

This is not a short article but certainly comprehensive. Can help those who want to understand all the factors involved in rimfire cleaning, and how to clean your rimfire weapons as thoroughly as possible if that's your desire. This gentleman has thoroughly analyzed all the factors involved in what makes the barrel dirty and what causes bore erosion, leading and so on. Also what cleaning tools and supplies to use, and how often to use them etc.
