1 1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
2 lb chuck or round or sirloin steak cut into bitesized cubes (I prefer chuck)
2 cans Rotel tomatoes
2 cans red chili beans
1/2 cup chili powder
2 tb cumin
1/8 cup red pepper flakes
2 tb cayenne pepper
1 or 2 large onions
1 or 2 bell peppers chopped
2 small cans of tomato paste (if you like it thick, if not, leave it out)

Saute all meat then add to everything else.
Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer for 2 - 4 hrs.
All amounts can be varied to your liking.

Enjoy.....

I posted my mother's recipe in one of the early riser threads as I am working mids now and fixed a batch for breakfast recently. It was a bit tame though and needs some oomph added to it.
