Caught a BNSF loco on the NS line today.
From scratch, absolutely. That's amazing. (And quite a project)
That would be assume. A scale scratch build !From scratch, absolutely.
Very Nice !!! For some reason, that color scheme grows on you.Well my GP50's got a make over, weathered with flat black paint, added ditch lights front a rear, havent numbered them yet, but coming soon. I have 3 of these, first # 7083, so these two will be in that range. New ESU decoders, leds etc. Love the high hoods.

Yes, I like the tuxedo scheme, maybe it's just what I'm used to seeing locally. Plus flat black is easy to do, versus other lighter colors. Plus it gives a worn look.Very Nice !!! For some reason, that color scheme grows on you.
I agree. For RR model colors I like the dull side of semi gloss, like Milwaukee's older colors, Union Pacific, Santa Fe and BNSF (local RR here colors). Same for rolling stock. CN seems to favor the darker color too, might have to do with the coal haulers. Some of those are good size, 3 pullers, mid engine and a pusher on the end. "Seems" like the pusher is doing all the workYes, I like the tuxedo scheme, maybe it's just what I'm used to seeing locally. Plus flat black is easy to do, versus other lighter colors. Glad you enjoy it. I also know what you mean.NS (N&W at the time) tracks go thru the town i live near, I policed there for 5 years and learned quickly not to leave the car windows open parked in front of the PD. The tracks were 100 yards from the PD. It's little wonder all their engines and stock are dull black, lol.
Threads like this are a welcome break from some others that go on and on to no avail or solution.
Those stickers are tedious, water mark. Takes a while to get them just right, but results are worth it.Nice job ...
