I’ve recently picked up a ruger american predator in 6.5 cm. The question I have is should I add the factory brake that ruger sells or leave as is? I’m new to hunting but not firearms...

Put one on if you think it has too much muzzle rise. No need otherwise.

I’m on the same page as my fellow Missourian, and I will stand behind the OP 100%, whatever he does......plus we just went down this road a few days ago.

In other words I’m neutral, lol.

Groundhog day..We just rode this merry go round.. Its your rifle and you set it up so it suits you and your needs if the muzzle lifts too much or you feel it recoils too much put a brake on it.. and enjoy shooting it. Goodluck
