I just picked up a NIB KP93D. Since they don't make them anymore and I have a P93D, should I shoot it or not? I know there is no great collector's value, but it's kind of neat to have an unfired one. If I don't shoot it, it will be the only virgin I have.

Talked me into it. (Well, it didn't take much did it?) Tonight is my range night. Missed last week due to remodeling chores. Guess I'll have to shoot twice as much tonight as usual.

Could you really sleep well... not knowing if it works?

I can't... so all my guns get fired shortly after I own them.

My standard response to anyone hawking a gun with a "Never Been Fired" premium price: How do you know it works?

Yep, it does make 'em irritated. :D

I'm Ruger poor right now - if you talk real nice, I just might help you clutter up the old ranch house a bit. If the boss lady ever finds out how many Rugers I really have, I might have to see if I can sleep in Max's house over at Nettles place.

Just bring 'em out one at a time-to most women they all look alike-and hope your mother-in-law or other "helpful" relatives never show up to help your wife do an old-fashioned Spring cleaning. Seriously-if it gets rough anytime soon----you may find those who haven't properly prepared will barter almost anything you need to get what they didn't have---Ruger poor could become Ruger rich real quick. Most valuable non-perishable item in time of trouble.

OK, OK, I shot the thing last night. Only 50 rounds - no problems of course. I would have shot it more, but found an interesting new toy at the range last night. (See the gallery)
