Has anybody used Moly Fusion on the barrel of their rifle to reduce heat and improve accuracy?

I am considering using it on my Remington 7400 .270 to improve stability during a "long string".

I traded for a M77 in 6.5x55 swedish...haven't scoped it yet...but...always wanted a 6.5x55.

Anybody got any experience with a 77 in that caliber?

And, at least for me...a complaint about "modern" 77's...I wish Ruger would've continued to put "iron" sights on them. I've just never been comfortable w/o iron sights...at least as a backup system, if nothing else!

My M77 is 30+ years old and it didn't come with sights and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's a .270 Win. and that is a round meant for a scope and a scope it has. Instead of iron sights my back up has always been an extra scope. I keep a 3x9 on it usually but I have a fixed 4 for it also. Each scope has it's own set of rings an I can swap out scopes with no change in zero. Besides that, I think they look 'prettier' without sights

Same here but in 7mm Rem Mag with the synthetic stock. Very nice crafted rifle. I love to look at her all day, her name is Maggie.
