Put a box of 50 rounds through the new PPK/S today. The gun worked flawlessly. Not a single issue to report. Managed a 2" or so group at 15 yards. It was surprisingly accurate for such a small gun. It definitely shoots better than I do.

I did get one small small slide bite, it was my mistake however. I allowed my grip to slip too high and it grazed the left side of my hand. Like I said, this was my fault. If I had payed closer attention to my grip it wouldn't have happened.

I was also a little surprised by the recoil. I didn't expect that much kick from such a (relatively) small round. It's not unbearable by any means but I'm definitely going to have to smooth this frame. The metal edges on the back of the frame really started to make my hand raw after I finished the box. I think the new grips will make a big difference, they should keep my thumbs where they need to be and should give me a little more to hold onto.

I really like this gun. I wouldn't hesitate to carry this every day if I had my license.

That is pretty much a reflection of my impressions too.

I actually enjoyed the sharp recoil and the way it jumps in the hand. It was fun to shoot!

I wouldn't be afraid to carry one for more than a BUG either.

Good report, I enjoyed it!

Just from handling the two I can tell you the DA is much better on the Bersa. It takes some muscles to pull the DA trigger on the Walther.
