If you've been to Alaska, that's a pretty common sight.

My 110 lb, 54 year old sister ended up getting a S&W .357 mag revolver for Mothers Day a few years back. She and her family live in Anchorage. Moose routinely make "snow angels" in their back yard (a small city lot).

The firearms, for the most part, aren't being carried for protection from other humans.....

I wish that's the way it could be around here but everyone not a gun owner would be paranoid.
She definitely shouldn't have anything to worry about. She looks comfortable with it and knows how to use it.
