Reloaded some 358 Win and 308 ME yesterday that I shot at the range on Monday. Next reloading session will probably be during the weekend. I plan on shooting again tomorrow but haven't decided what firearms will be making the trip yet.
Reloaded my first 5.7x28mm rounds today, 7 different powder charges with two different bullets.. This is my first reloading for .22-cal. and my first use of Lehigh's Controlled Chaos all-copper bullets...
Next is .30 Carbine...which I hate because they need to be trimmed pretty much every time, and I hate case trimming. I have the Frankford Arsenal case trimmer system for bottleneck, but need to go Old School 2.0 for the straight-wall:
Only got about half of the cases done last night...
I loaded 100 rounds of my light trap load 12 g on Saturday, despite 'pre-lubing' w/ ibuprophen my right shoulder was sore afterward. Went to our monthly Tournament on Sunday ....... and kept score. Either smaller batches to reload or higher doses of ibuprophen appear to be needed.
Just loaded 100 .223 with H335 and 65 grain Sierra Gamekings. I need to call and complain to Sierra, they mislabeled the count in the box of bullets. There were supposed to be 100 but there were 102. JK, it’s like winning the lottery.
Working on my 9 mm and 45 ACP cast lead HP's for several weeks getting an good batch of those loaded up. I'm pretty well cover on pistol ammo in all my calibers now so it's onto rifles. everything I'll be loading is cast lead loads including 7.62 x 39 & 54r, 30-30, 30-06 and 300 Sav.
9mm - 400
40 S&W - 300
.44 Spl - 250
.41 mag. - 200 (150 cast & 50 jacketed)
.45 ACP - 200
.223 - 400
.257 Roberts - 100
30-06 - 60
Now that wasn't done yesterday, or today - more like over the last week. However, it's a pretty darn good start! Now i need to fire up the furnaces and get back to casting!
