A butt load of 44 mag to practice with for my hunting trip to MI in a few weeks. I’ve settled on a 240 grain hardcast bullet using 17 grains of AA#9 which moves along at just over 1300 FPS. That ought to work.

I'm developing loads for my several-years-old AR-15 in 6X45, which is the 5.56X45 necked up to 6mm.. Its barrel has a 10" twist so it already doesn't shoot bullets over 90g. very accurately.. I've been using the old 85g. Speer soft-point boat-tail...

...and shot a few bugholes at close range last week, but some 80g. all-copper, plastic-tipped bullets arrive tomorrow..I'll be loading those this week and shooting them Sunday.. The pic includes a .223 Rem factory load flanked by a couple 5.56X45s.

36 boxes of 20 gauge for the wife and son in the last week. Only 45 or 50 to go! :) All done on an old Pacific DL-105 that my father purchased in 1978. Have to pull the primer seating tube out towards me each time I seat a primer or it will not line the hull up with the primer. It's worn but works every bit as good as a new Mec.

But our fucking government put my country in Lockdown again ,so I can't go out to the shooting range !!!! They permit us only to bring the children to school and go working, they are crazy but people who can't work and have money to survive are getting very angry!!!

Well, about a year ago I dismantled the reloading bench and packed it up pending a major move. I am happy to announce that today my reloading bench has a new home! Over the course of the next couple of weeks it will become functional as I unpack the last remaining boxes from the move and build out the new reloading bench.

100 rds. of 218 Bee for my Chiappa Mini Sharps; 12.8 grs. IMR 4227 under a Sierra 45gr JSP.
50 rds. of 45/70 for my Cimarron High Wall; 50 grs. Goex ff under a 405 gr. 20:1 cast lead. Plinking load

One great thing about single shot rifles, particularly now with the ammo/component shortage, is that you can go have a lot of fun at the range without worrying about burning too much ammo.

Best regards,

Loaded 200 rounds of .357 yesterday. Back to normal level of loaded ammunition. Loaded these with Herco for further accuracy tests of the loads that were promising during chronographing.
