Although I should be retired, I still work a full-time 40 hour a week job. Then, depending on the season: I target practice, hunt, fish, teach fly fishing and fly tying, shoot trap, help my wife take care of her horse, mow, weed-eat, cut wood, and do repairs around the house. I also pull maintenance on my firearms and fishing equipment. Other than that, not much of anything.

I love walking dogs 3-5 miles a day. My giant dog Roscoe has gotten too old to walk much more than a half mile (slowly) a day. So I also walk my mother's foster dogs (service dogs in training) to pick up the slack where the big man just can't keep up anymore.

This an older picture. He's got a lot more gray fur nowadays.

My main activity is sleep and looking after my dog.

Over the years I've played guitar and briefly tried clarinet, trumpet, and tenor banjo. I still have a thrift store acoustic guitar that plays pretty well, but I've forgotten more than I remember. My main instrument now is ukulele, but I don't put enough time into it. I own six of them, one is a banjo ukulele. Plays the same, but sounds a lot different.

Otherwise I like old B&W movies, and pre-1950 jazz and Big Band. I still watch and listen to more modern stuff though ..:)

I used to be an avid fisherman, hunter (deer, elk, pheasant, quail, prairie dogs, coyotes, doves, ducks and geese) but now I just watch Utubes. I have been involved with about every shooting sport to include skeet, trap, clays, NRA pistol matches, 100 yard high power rifle, steel silhouette, gongs, plates and all sorts of paper targets. Now I'm lucky to fondle one of my guns maybe once a week. If it weren't for my computers, TV, and my dog, I'd spend most of my time in bed.

Getting old really sucks and today I am celebrating my 79th birthday .... yup, a Pi baby (3.14). If it weren't for my lower back, right hip, and bladder, I'd be as spry as a 75 year old. I'm planning to eat some old dead cow at Texas Road House tonight with my grandkids.

I miss riding, still have 9 bikes but haven't ridden since getting my knee replaced too many years ago. The knee replacement went well but was quickly followed by hip problems. Miss fishing as well, I realized that I could no longer wade moving water when Salmon fishing more than a decade ago, now I don't walk well or stand for very long. Still having a few boats I think that I am going to make a better effort to have one ready and see about trolling for some trout this spring, a couple of friends from the gun club have said that they would help with the launch, parking and all that goes with trailering. Fishing is a strange thing for me, catching a sunfish doesn't bring the same excitement as a 500 pound Atlantic Bluefin, but the satisfaction is similar. My 'middle' boat has caught Steelhead and Lakers in the Niagra River and Sailfish, Blackfin and Grouper near Key West as well as lots of stuff here in New England, I don't think that I will feel too limited in the local lakes if I can get out there but it won't be like heading offshore before sunrise. My 'gardening' used to consist of helping friends plant and harvest 130 acres of feed corn and bales of hay for their dairy herd but climbing in to the truck has become a problem. So ... I read a lot, and help friends out where I can loan tools and advice or rides for kids to or from school ... and visit here at least once each day. With school cancelled because of another Nor'easter today I don't have to go and bring my 'grand daughter' (we aren't actually related) home from school, we also cancelled today's planned 'old guys clean all the guns for the Youth Program at our club day' so I don't have very much to do.
