Then when off the clock, spending time with the wife and daughter.
A veteran of keeping the yard cut, and house in working order, whatever that requires.

Then when on my own you guys know I'm messing with my train hobby. A perfect world in miniature.

Then I'm either at the range shooting. reloading, or wrenching on my guns.

I am also a gear head, owned several atv's dirtbikes, and jetskis over the years. Still have a Honda 450 foreman, a 500 polaris, and my pride and joy 1985 honda atc 200x I bought in 300 pieces in a box in 1997, that I totally rebuilt, and restored to almost new condition. My daughter a while back wanting to drive it..... not for many MANY, years.
Then when not doing that, weather is nice will take out my mustang for a spin Also in the below picture. Love the 5.0 V8 Fox body.

Tacky,

I love that "Big Boy".

A number of years ago, there was a non-operating big boy being moved to the "new" Forney museum in Denver. I was part of the crew helping to move it. My job was if the locomotive got away from them, I was to throw a 4x4 between the wheels to try and stop it. They were pulling it with a front end loader. I think back to that wondering if the 4x4 would have been nothing but splinters. My reward for helping was being allowed to climb all over the locomotive and checking it out. It is amazing how BIG a real Big Boy is.

Pleasant memory!

I have a G scale Challenger. It is almost 4' long. If it wasn't in it's foot locker in the bottom of my closet, I would post some pictures of it. I will have to see if I have any pictures of it in my computer files.

Since I posted pics relative to the thread question I gotta ask why? Show me ‘dem rulz’.
I agree. However, it’s a forum rule. Not mine. You won’t get tossed, but they might move your post.

It’s a gun forum.

If you go to the car, truck etc forum in the Tavern, you will see a lot of members wheeled toys.

So it’s a gun forum. The thread title in The Tavern reads, “What do you do? So I posted ‘what I do’. Show me the rule that prohibits this.

In an effort to allow more topics and still maintain the central focus of the forum on firearms we are creating a single thread for you to post pictures of the cars you have rebuilt, owned, etc. and discuss topics in that regard. This is the only thread that will be allowed on the subject . Any others will be removed and if it becomes a problem for moderation we will then eliminate the topic entirely. I have made the thread a sticky.

Sawdust and things that go well with it (e.g., copper plating, a little granite work, glass etch).

I used fish, bowfish and bow hunt a lot but then I loved to OKC which killed most of that (cities suck). Since then we've moved to Georgia and although surrounded by woods I don't have anywhere to bow hunt and the closest fishing area is too far to be a serious hobby.

Having a bad spine puts a damper on pretty much everything but I occasionally, today included, shoot my recurve in the backyard and I'm trying to learn how to throw knives. The learning curve on knife throwing is frustratingly large lol.

I collect teddy bears but thanks to our new administration there's zero extra money available for such things so it's less "collecting teddy bears" and is now "collected teddy bears" but I'm close to running out of room so maybe that's not all bad.

Eventually we hope to move further out in the country where we have the land to shoot, fish, hunt and get some horses but unless things change in our government, that dream is probably DOA.
