Beautiful. It reminds me of a morning when I was hunting a clear cut from a climber. I was way up in a sweetgum tree and my camo was good. My climber is painted in a break up pattern and I had a camo sleeve over my barrel. My scope was a bare black Leupold. I didn't see any deer but a red tail hawk kept circling back to check me out. I think he thought it looked like a fox squirrel from a distance. I wish more scope companies would offer options in FDE or ODG. I paid to have my Sig Sauer Bravo 5 no-bake cerakoted in FDE.FDE - For Dire Emergencies !

That's the trick -- every thing from the same manufacturer means that every thing will likely match.I just made it easy on myself and bought all Magpul ''furniture" when I switched the parts on my DS-10. Figured they had their act together on the color, as in your stock. Even paint cans from different manufactures can't seem to agree.

Well, it's Flat Dark Earth color. And you know how many shades of dirt there are.....I recently assembled a 300 Blackout AR style rifle.
For safety reasons I wanted to differentiate the 300 Blackout rifle from my 5.56 rifles so I decided to put some FDE furniture on the rifle.
I like to keep my AR's black. I'm not big on aesthetics or that stuff but this was for safety reasons.
I ordered a stock, sling, magazines and Hogue grip in FDE. Everything has arrived except the Hogue grip and they're all a different color lol. I find it hilarious. The mag and stock are both Magpul FDE but somehow are two different colors.
The sling is more of a gold color and I imagine the Hogue grip is will be yet another shade of FDE. I really don't care. My rifle is built for business and the color is insignificant to it's function but I find it funny.
For what it's worth, of all the shades of FDE that occupy my rifle; the color of the stock is my favorite.
