Depending on what shape it is in, my buyers book says 90% value is $244. So I would guess anything less than $300 would be a fair price for you to pay.

I paid $300 I think for mine. It is a distributor exclusive in perfect condition. It came with the factory box, 1 10 round magazine, and a Fobus paddle holster.

I have a chance to buy a P89 for $250.00 out the door. it is in OK condition, has aftermarket hougue grips, an ok holster, but comes with no mags.
Not sure if I should buy...

In good condition, I would expect to pay between $300 to $350 in my area. Especially, since the recent panic buying started.

Not bad, but considering how much factory mags are going for right now, I would probably use Mec-Gar. They cost less and function just as well as the factory magazines. That is, if you can find a place that has them in stock.

I think those grips are close to twenty dollars, so you still might come out with a pretty good deal even after you buy a magazine or two, IMHO.

I paid $300 at a local pawn shop for a P89DC in mid-January of this year. It was in good condition and came with Hogue grips and one 15-round factory mag. Maybe a little bit high - but maybe not, considering the hysteria that was starting around that time. It shoots great and I really like the pistol. I had always been a revolver guy and this was my first semi-auto.

I sold a P89DC with Crimson Trace lasergrips, original grips, Pachmayr grips, 6 magazines, web belt and holster, box, book & speed loader, last August for $525.

They are worth 300-450 in the Northeast

Up here in the Northeast, the supply of guns is limited. Good pistols are going for 300-450 on average.
magazines are $38.95(checked today at LGS)

Picked one up about a year ago for $279.99 + tax. Right at $300.00.

around 3 would be a good price if bore is good and ramp looks good given the over priced GB rates

It all depends, given the fact that you can get a stainless P95 for less than $400 OTD right now, I wouldn't go above $350 for an average condition P89.

Then again I just paid $550 for a brand new condition stainless P89 DAO only because I really wanted it😃

I just paid $300 for a blue P85 in holster worn condition and feel it was a fair deal, even as a Ruger junkie I have a hard time seeing P series guns going above $500 for even excellent condition guns. These were Ruger's meat and potatoes inexpensive service 9mm and they made a boatload of them.

Local store has the P95 for 339.00, (371.00) out the door with tax and your call in check.
