I want to buy a new or in good shape used 10/22. This is normal fro me, I always hit thing at the wrong time. I live in Vegas and can not find a single one. I am not sure if it was Christmas or the possible gun ban. Where is a good place to buy a new one online and what is a fair price for it. Thanks

Check out:

Long Mountain Outfitters

180 Cassia Way #507 Henderson, NV 89014

Best price I found (did not look at Walmart) in Henderson. Not sure what they have in stock, had to wait a few weeks for mine when I purchased back in Oct.

Yes tried them he does not have any and has no clue when or from where he can get them. From what I have learned is that the gun manufracture (Ruger) makes the guna nd id is sent to a distributor and from there it goes to the retail stores. I may be wrong. I wonder if some where along the line the distributor is holding them up so that the demand rises above the suppley and the price goes up. It just seams to be that they would be working to push out as much guns as they can before they can;t anymore.

I just brought mine home from the Big Five on Decatur and Charleston. They got two in this morning. Give them a call and see if they still have one. 702-878-6100

You could try Gunbroker.com and have it shipped to a FFL dealer in your area. They usually charge like $25 for the transfer fee.
Exactly what I did. Shopped online (GB) for my gun and never left the house until it arrived at my local GS/FFL.

No problem, I had been scouting out the neighbor hood for some time. ;)
As far as ammo, limited on 22 lr, I think they had some of the small boxes of Rem Golden Bullet.

I picked up my 10/22 today. When I called them to put it on hold it was $269. Today I picked it up for &239. It went on sale. They also had a lot of ammo, no 22lr but boxes of 9mm. Pilja23 if you take your receipt to them they will give you the difference.

ammo first

I would start looking for 22lr ammo even before you find a 10-22 . The 10-22 will be easer to find. I was caught with just a couple of bulk boxes. Zero bulk 22 in the Greater seattle area. Just high end target stuff. ( $10 and up for 50 ) and very little of that!!

From Cabela's it was this

FEDERAL CHAMPION 22LR 2100RD AMMO CAN CHAMPION 22LR 2100RD
It cost 113 with tax and shipping and comes with a ammo can. I checked today and could not find it anymore. Check and see if you can find it.
