For those who have a Hogue grip sleeve on your SR9, which model did you use? Universal or a model for another brand/model pistol? Also, are you using the flat or round side of the backstrap underneath the sleeve? Thanks
I'd like to know myself. Hopefully someone will post an answer for us. Come on guys, fill in the blank. The grip that best fits my Ruger SR9 is the ___________________ .
I'm not positive, but I think that would be the Hogue HandAll grip sleeve. My son in law put one on his SR40 and that's basically the same. I'm waiting for Talon to make one for the SR40. I put a Talon on my 9c and really like the feel of it.
As a SR9 owner I am interested too. I like it as is but your guestion got me looking. Hogue Handall grip sleeves seem to be the grip most like. The link below, last post shows one on a SR9. Now Talon rubber grips are a option I guess, but so is skate board tape. All the grips out there are cheap enough to give em a try.
I've heard of people using skate board tape, but you would be hard pressed to get a custom fit like the Talon.I just visited the their site and they now have them for the SR40 andSR9.http://talongungrips.com/Talon-Grips-for-Ruger-Ruger.htm
Interesting...I've never thought of a sleeve-type grip for my SR9. The Hogue grips don't look too bad, but I'll wait until there are more options, the stock grips are fine for now.
