Well plus tax of course.. Wrangler SA .22 LR
What a NICE gun for peanut money..
The choice between this and the similarly priced Heritage was pretty stark..
Yeah, its no a Single Six, but does share a LOT of the same parts except for the cylinder and grip frames.. Ruger has been selling a lot of these and the reviews are all great.

Only issue is I wanted the bronze color, but the local store only had black..
I did find a bronze one at a big box store, but they wanted $199, and it required 2 80 mile round trips on 2 separate days to actually get the gun.. just not worth the hassle.. black is fine, she'll dress up fine with some rosewood grips.. Really well made SA revolver, ruger quality, dependability, and great customer service.. For well under $200.. NO brainer.
She'll get plenty of use... bob

Have your LGS order it for you. They are taking a little longer now, guessing people are scooping them up for Christmas.

They said they couldn't order one.. I doubt thats true, but I DO know they had trouble getting ANY ... they said they were not a gun that could be ordered at this time, as they were being allocated.. Not sure if thats true or not, but i was odd that they only had them in black and the huge Sportmans Warehouse chain store an hour from here while having 6 in stock, ALL were bronze, and thats all they could get right now... Its not a big deal,, Black goes with everything.. I can dress it up a bit. bob

My local shop said they could order them, but they might take a couple weeks to get here. I "need" black and silver to go with my bronze one. Cowkid2 wants a black one, so I'll probably order that one next, hopefully I'll have it home in time to put under the tree.

I should probably be embarrassed, but I have picked up a few. They are not free, but a lot of gun for the price. I want to make sure I have plenty for any potential grand kids, or gg kids. I'm just not confident they will have a lot of options.

Depending on the next election. I could certainly see a world with no, or greatly restricted, manufacturing of new arms. Those 200.00 revolvers could be invaluable to the next generation.

All the farm stores in my area seem to have them continuously for 189.00. Quite a deal.

If someone had told me 5 years ago that Ruger was going to introduce a single action revolver that would sell for under $200, I would say they had lost their mind.

I just picked one up myself for Christmas! Looks like a fun little gun. It’s my first revolver. Just got it for plinking with the family.
The bummer is I have to wait until Christmas to play with it. My wife promptly wrapped it when we got home. lol
I ended up with the silver but the black was tempting too. They didn’t have bronze which I really like except that it has the black grips and cylinder with silver hammer and trigger. Too many colors. Haha. I just might have to get all three colors though. We’ll see.

I got lucky and got three the other day for Xmas gifts not sure if it’s just me but they seem to be just a little higher quality than the the first two I bought hardly any pitting if at all on the last three.

Have been shooting mine quite a bit and keep coming to the same conclusion you can’t beat them for the price ,a quality six shooter on the cheap...good job Ruger

That's what I did! It was the last one left at a local dealer's annual sale in early November. Black. It is going under the tree - BUT my wife let me go shoot it! She is the best.
