I am going to buy this for my well functioning and used cmmg conversion kit. I will report back as to its performance. I agree with johnnydollar about the weight of it, but I am willing to give it a go. So I will be at least 1 sucker!
I have a CMMG dedicated upper that the firing pin broke into 3 pieces. Never seen anything like it. I sent them a pic of it, and they sent me 2 new ones.

Multitudes of rounds later, and I still have the spare.

The Bore Buddy does look good thou!

It just makes since @maddmatter1970

Rimfire primer is spun into the perimeter of the case. Better ammo is more uniform in primer application I suspect. Your new firing pin crushes more circumference of the shell.

Pretty cool.
yeah it struck me as an actual good idea! so far so good. at this point, I would highly recommend it! with the lighter of the 2 included springs. I can't believe it took me so long to find this solution.

Maybe not quantifiable in this instance, but I wonder if accuracy is improved? I think I recall reading that 22 match shooters modify their FP's on occasion for more consistency.
funny you mention that!!!!!! I cant say, I am not a bench rest guy, I shoot off hand. My rifle was zeroed for cci minimags and cci ar tactical.... this stuff grouped like this for all 75 shots @ 50-60 yards off hand out of a wylde chamber with the cci kit

That's remarkable at that range.
I doubt my stock 10-22 could match it.
The .22lr (I need to stress this is in my experience) is actually more accurate out of my wylde and 5 56 than out of my savage model 6A. For me. I have no idea why. The 6A has been shooting since 1947. The other guns circa 2018 and 2022. So.... idk. People say the conversions are not super accurate. For me, I can pop a running bunny or squirell in the head about 70% of the time with the ar's and about 75% of the time with the 6A. But.... on paper the ar's do about 5% better. Go figure

I'm not surprised by your results. Those FP strikes look outstanding. Just for my own curiosity - you did get the steel pin, didn't you?

I predict your missfires will now be exceptionally rare events - even with the crappiest of ammo, like Winchester bulk.

Yes. I could not bring myself to pay the extra for the titanium. It was a struggle. My flashy side wanted to sooooo much. The side of me that has been through 53 years of hell said "don't be a jackass".... so its the steel premium crescent.
And thanks! I am going to pick up some .06 per pop stuff just to see. It ate some remingtons tonight! (1983 vintage)
