... this is possibly my best looking gun. She is a real shooter too! Nine rounds of .22 WMR is nothing to sneeze at! You don't seem to read too much about the Single Nine around here, but it is a cool gun!

Anyway, with that introduction, I took the Single Nine to the range this weekend and a good time was had by all. This is a beautiful gun and gives you something a little different at the range! Accurate as heck, too.

I also have a single nine but haven't shot it very much. I have about 4 different brands of ammo and most shoot low at 10 yards. I just need more time and ammo to make it a tack driver. At what distance do you normally shoot it?

I usually shoot it at ten yards for now. I have been planning to re-zero it for 25 yards but not until I have practiced more.

Love from me too for the Single Nine. Your's is sweet, Redleg, a real beauty. The Williams Fire Sights are a big plus. I've installed them on my Single Six and they really help my old eyes. If Ruger ever decides to offer the Single Ten with a 4 5/8" barrel I'd certainly consider one. For now, when I feel the need for shooting .22 Mags, I'll just install the magnum cylinder in my Single Six Convertible. :)

redleg, I like em but never see them in the LGSs, but TBH I haven't been to the stores much this year with everything going on in life lately.
