Beautiful rifle!
I've always admired that cartridge. Too much for anything I'm up to now. It looks like Ruger really nails it on the big guns.

 

The Gun Shop asks $ 1,850.00 for it.

 

$1,850.00? Worth every penny of it.

So the rifle is not that common, and considering the few examples here in Sweden I would not hesitate calling it 'a rare gun on these distance shores'.

 

That's $ 18,57 a shoot!!!

I fired 48 shoots (practice) with my .30-06 last wednesday.

I guess I had to start practice how to reload ammunition if I ever decide to buy a gun that's chambered in a caliber that expensive.

 

Shot thousands of .416 Rigby sadly LOL

 

I paid $3.75 a piece for 416 Rigby brass 2 years ago. Not sure what it is now, stick with Norma the Hornday cracks after a couple of loading.

 

Beautiful rifle. I knew someone from the Cleveland area who took the same gun on a hunt in Africa. He did well with that caliber.
