I think it could use a kickstand to really be tacti-complete.

 

The only 'upgrade' a 10-22 needs is a scope / red dot sight and a BLACK WALNUT stock.

 

Make sure it has Predator Vision.
About the only thing I might add to a 10-22 is a decent sling. I don't need scopes, lights, or anything else.

 

That frame almost looks like an SR-22, but the handguard definitely isn't....

I managed to pick up these two for a (IMHO) a ridiculous price

I was mostly interested in the SR-22, even though it has been abused, badly. The 10/22 looked like it might have been severely "bubbafied", but once I got a look at it, the rail system clamps onto the front and screws into the mount holes on the top of the receiver. I haven't decided yet if I am going to keep it on the gun, but I am definitely ditching cheap lasers and lights.

The SR-22 did clean up pretty good, but there are some finish issues on the receiver that need more work than just a quick deep clean. The scope on it is a "tacti-cool" nightmare, it's gone.

 

Bet the squirrels or rabbits see it, and fall dead from fright.
I like a minimum myself. As I have gotten older, I now use scopes, and my double vision glasses.

I believe in the KISS system! (keep it simple stupid). My buddy adds on everything he can and ends up with a 12 pound gun. He's not going into combat, but it's his money. We are far apart in out taste. We had a similar 10/22 come into the store. It didn't last more than a few days before it sold. I prefer the pic with the simple folding stock. I like that.

 

Listed as a 10-22 but I haven't run across a 10-22 with more tactical accoutrements in quite some time. A bit too much Bubbafication for my liking, but YMMV.
