They're selling on ebay for 305.00. They shoot around 450 fps with 16" arrows about 450 FPS, delivers 135 FT. LBS.of energy, twice the power of standard archery equipment. Accuracy is under 1" at 50 YDS.
I think a bullet would get there faster then an arrow.

If it shoots arrows ... it's not a firearm ? ... might be allowed to be sold through the mail , no ffl requirements and may be allowed in CA and NY .
Last time I looked there were no restrictions on my compound bow or the arrows it shoots .
This may seem like a squirrely (wonky) idea ... but there may be something to it , if enough velocity can be attained .

And no arrow shortage that I'm aware of ... plenty of arrow ammo!

I was curious on that too. The Ebay link SR-22 posted is for the barrel only, which we all know is an easy 10-22 swap. It's interesting that the barrel only costs more than a base 10-22 typically is. The barrel I know can be sold through the mail. This gunbroker auction included the entire gun which with a simple barrel swap could be converted back to a regular 10-22, so I'm betting (no guarantee) that it would have to go through an FFL. I'm not an expert though. It is an interesting concept I have never seen anything like that. I have looked at the soda can launcher uppers that they have for AR's. They use 223 blanks and look like a blast, but I cant bring myself to shell out the $350+ that they were going for.

That golf ball launcher is interesting, I'd rather make them bounce shooting one with the 22 thought haha

With shipping the barrel is $325 and it looks like you get 1 arrow. The Crackshot is $420 to $470 on the street if you can find one in stock. You get more arrows, a 2nd barrel for 22lr, a scope and it is a lot easier to change barrels as well as easier to load. That arrow went clear through the pig. I have the 22lr Crackshot and it is a good backpack gun. Very light and breaks down to pack. Mine is threaded for a can. It would make an interesting survival gun. I would like to run into one but it would probably come home with me. I was considering a crossbow but they are too bulky and I am in the same boat on drawing a bow.
