I recently bought a basic 10/22, I cleaned it when I got home with as I do all new guns. I used some good gun oil to lube everything up and the action is pretty smooth. I have used grease on some of my semi auto pistols and started wondering if it would work well on the 10/22. Have any of you used it, and what were your results?
Anyone use a grease to lube their 10/22?

If anything, just a small amount of oil should only be used to care for any rust problems. Grease will only gunk up your rifle because the loads are so dirty
