I have a two different aftermarket ejector rods.
The bochardt is on my 6 1/2 in Blackhawk, comfortable to use. Looks good, is a quality piece. Beware though, might be challenging in some holsters. I have an Azula cross draw, fits perfect, carries well.

"Ruger Blackhawk Birdshead Ejector Rod Large, Round, Button is Easy to Hit. Dished button provides excellent finger purchase for fast, sure ejection. Patterned after the "Bullseye" style ejector used on original Colts. Fits all models of Blackhawk and Vaquero. SPECS: Steel, blue, polished finish. 4 inches (10.4 cm) long .48 inch (12 mm) dia. button. May require minor fitting. Birds Head Ejector: $28.75"

I use a Samson on my single six. Just as comfortable, not as large. good with sticky .22 cases

Some of my better finds.
Good luck.

I do on all mine, gives a better purchase ejecting and ads a distinctive part to make them my own. I've gotten mine off ebay and been very happy. Functions just like the original.

I like both styles. To be honest the bullseye for the single six gives you more comfortable leverage on ejections for long shooting sessions. I usually shoot a couple hundred rds from my SS at a session so lots of use. Even with the chambers polished after time the leverage helps. I bought the crescent for the SS first and didn't know about the bullseye type till later. Put that one on the 6 1/2 Blackhawk thinking that bigger cases needs more leverage. It's a convertible, so far I have about a 1000 rds of 9mm through it. Those are not a problem. Iowegan and Montana09 sent pictures which should help you make your choice. I never thought of Ebay (don't know what I was thinking).
As I said holster fit with the bullseye depends on the holster. The Azula I use is a bit tight but it will wear in. A "SlimJim" might be more of a problem. The crescent shouldn't be a problem.

Happy coffee time gents. We had some big hail yesterday in central New Mexico, it busted the skylite in my bathroom, while I was in there. Oh boy. Back to what I really like, I like the looks of the cresc

ent but the bullseye has a better use function as you stated Islandcop. Iowegan, you have great skills. My work is usually done with a 2# hammer and a Mikita grinder. Montana09 nice crown. I think that the bullseye would be more favorable, still deciding. Al Story raised his price from $28.75 to $40.00. I have a few other things going on right now so I might have to put this off for a day or 2. Thanks guys, Jerry.
