I've got 2 .357 magnum handguns, 2 .22 caliber rifles and a 12 gauge shotgun.

I'd estimate I've got about 500 rounds between these guns on hand.

How much do you have?

+1. I cannot give an exact number, however I have home and family defense covered in 99% of scenarios. I am comfortable, but would always like more.

But to be honest you can NEVER have enough ammo, since if you run out, your firearms become an expensive stick thats not great at its purpose.:D

That may be me then?

Imagine that, a gun owner belonging to more that ONE gun forum.

From the response of ppl, sounds like I need to be adding some ammo

Agreed. You are only as anonymous as your account info is protected. It’s just like signature lines- I wouldn’t put a sign on my door or truck that says all the firearms I own or the quantity of ammo on hand, so why would I announce it online?

I’ll mention having or using something in direct response to a question or if reviewing something, but not just to state I’ve got it.

200 rounds of 44 magnum,
150 rounds of 44 special,
150 rounds of 45 Auto.

In 22LR, 11 bricks.
And over 1500 rounds of centerfire.
And enough components to load thousands more.

Gotta buy in quantity when it's on sale.

You all know that it's easy to go through a few hundred a day, even in bolt guns, so a few thousand rounds isn't really that much at all.

I don't worry about what I say here but I can't believe what some idiots reveal on facebook.

So Oregon is going to limit folks to buying 20 rounds per month. Did they put a limit on what you can keep in the house?

The best deal I could find in factory 6.5 Grendel and 6.5CM was Hornady American Gunner at $140/200 exclusively at Sportsman's Warehouse. That was cheap at only 70c each for excellent ammo.

Last Friday they raised the price $50, to $190/200. Caught us all by surprise, I would have bought 1000 rounds if I'd known the price was going up that much.

The real question should be how much do you practice not now much you have in storage.

Me: 300 22lr, 100 9mm, 100 45acp, 200 air gun pellets, per week.

Beware of the man with one gun - who practices!!! In my case 1<gun<1000

You have the right to remain silent. I recommend you do so. Answering questions about how many guns you have and how much ammo you have on a public forum is fraught with the potential to be used against you. As a regular here I've posted quite a bit in individual threads about whatever the topic is. Along the way I've revealed that I had this or I have that, etc. If someone took the time to review all 3000+ of my posts and added it all up they would probably come to the conclusion I'm a Certified Gun Nut. However, I'm not going to make it easy on them by summing it all up in one post. Yes, I'm a bit paranoid about such things.

Why care how much ammo someone else has? I know preppers who brag they have numbers in the hundred-thousands, so what? Stored in their bunkers in the Rockies, naturally.

I have over 5K of 22LR because I usually buy bricks and it's useful to have many different loads to try in each weapon. Each gun has it's favorite.

The biggest thing to me is cost. When a deal comes along it doesn't hurt to stock up, it won't go bad.
