I have a Mark 2 22/45 and was thinking about purchsing a second upper for it. I located a Mark 3 upper. I am aware that the LCI will prevent the Mark 2 bolt from working properly. My question is will the Mark 2 bolt work if an LCI filler is used? I don't mind purchsing a second bolt but if I can save $60 then I will. Thanks in advance.

The bolt should work okay if you remove the LCI. You don't actually need the LCI filler, it's only cosmetic.
If the extra upper is not from a 22/45 as well you may have some fitment issues. You can find some threads about the differences.
BTW, Ruger won't sell you a bolt anymore.
