Needing some info for loads in 45acp with Longshot

Like the title says, I'm hopeful someone has any experience with Longshot in the 45 acp using 200 grain cast and powdercoated semi-wadcutters, I have found data using jacketed hollow point in 200 grain but no load data for 200 swc's. I also read on an old post on this forum but one comment on the thread stated that Longshot isn't really meant to push cast lead, but the powdercoat jackets I apply after casting makes them, in a sense, jacketed bullets that don't require lube or anything. I am just looking for a starting load and what possible max load is and I'll work up from the starter.

I'm sure that someone has tried it, it just takes digging to find them. I had previously scoured the forums to find a load for my AR using lever-evo because it was all I had and managed to find the right people who compiled a cycling load during the last shortage. It turned out to be pretty accurate too it was just a bit more smokey than other powders I have now.

I have TiteWad, TiteGroup, CFE Pistol, and Accurate No.2. I picked up 2lbs of Longshot because it was cheap and avaliable at the time and I'm just now getting around to using it. My Speer loading manual doesn't list data for it and I'm finding little info in online searches, so any information will be greatly appreciated. This will be shot from my 1911 GI Model BTW if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance

Heck I will keep that data in mind idk about actually reaching 8.7g if anyone else tries it, I just hope they work up like normal procedure. I accidentally loaded up some cases with a too hot charge of CFE Pistol and ruptured the case and destroyed my grips lol that luckily didn't detonate the remaining rounds in my mag but dam it numbed my hand for a while

I appreciate the info so far y'all I decided to use the load data zone Hornady's reloading data center, I looked in my Speer manual and Longshot wasn't listed for the 200 grain SWC specifically, I cast, powdercoat, and run them through a .451 sizing die to load my own lead for targets.

I decided to use the load data for the 200 grain JHP data which starts with 7.0g and maxed load of 7.8g of Longshot. Since I've never used Longshot and wasn't sure how much it'd take to get them moving, and keeping in mind the SWC has a better coefficient than a JHP, I went a couple bumps below the starting data and loaded a handful with 6.8g and it functioned without issue and no pressure signs on the casings through my GI Model 1911, I made a note of that for a starting point with my SWC's and started working up from there. So far I'm getting really good results with 7.2g of Longshot in mixed brass, federal 150 LPP, and I seat them to have a COL of 1.251, sorry forgot to mention that info earlier haha.

When powder selection gets back to normal I'll be using my loads that I've developed using TiteGroup for the 200g SWC target loads, and wither Accurate No.2, or CFE Pistol for my 230g SD loads. God only knows when reloading supplies will reach a somewhat relative form of "normalcy" in relation to selection and availability of primers, powder, and bullets will be...but since it's a take what you can get at the time kind of market at the moment. I've been trying a plethora of powders for my 5.56 and 45acp. Today I'm going to keep working up the Longshot loads to see where things preform best for my pistol and will continue posting the results here to help others hopefully.

I'm still somewhat relatively new to reloading and casting since I've been doing it for only 3 years compared to seasoned pro's who have decades of experience...I have learned a lot since I started handloading just before this pandemic nonsense, and I'm always learning more, only regret I have is I didn't immediately go with a progressive press hahaha..

I'm definitely experienced in repriming primers with multiple substitute compounds to be able to keep practicing, but the reliability isn't 100% and the subs are all corrosive too. Sorry I went on a tangent for a but there. Like I said before though, I greatly appreciate the help and will keep yall updated on my progress if yall are backordered. I will be working on some .223/5.56 loads using cast zinc bullets as soon as my arsenal mold arrives, I'm frickin excited about that.

Additional info if in need of unconventional load data for lever evolution and a couple guys developed a 5.56 load with lever evolution on a random forum that pioneered one with 55g fmj-bt bullets during the Obama shortages. 26g of lvr-evo will reliably cycle the bcg and is decently accurate at 100 yards, it is more gassy though.
