I have a folding brace but find it unnecessary and don't use it after trying it. PCC is smaller than an AR pistol and 9mm recoil in a 5lb pistol is nothing.

I went with the SB Tactical, FS 1913 folding brace. You could probably adapt the SBPDW to fit, if you don't mind spending the extra $80 for the brace and another $40 for the adapter.

 

I bought a SB Tactical folding brace also. Took me a little while to figure out how to fold it, lol. For home protection I don't need the brace esp since I added a green laser weapon light. The 9mm PCC is a pussycat recoil-wise. Handles beautifully with two hands.

 

Thanks for the good info guys. Though I'd like to use the SBPDW brace, I'm not going that route unless someone had done it and knows it works. My concern would be there not being a clear path for the brace "rails" along the receiver when collapsing the brace. If I can't go that route I'm considering offerings from A3 Tactical.

Any more suggestions & experiences are welcomed!

 

Keep in mind the ATF is trying to ban braces. I found I could use the PC Charger quite well just cheek welding it. Recoil is negligible because it is too heavy.

 

Yeah, familiar with all the rhetoric but appreciate the heads up. Not deterred!

 

I have the red dot forward. Removed the finger stop. Screwed on a flash can and use an overhand grip on the forend. I shoot the 10-22 Charger the same way.
