Does anyone know how to change out the sights on the Security 9? Ruger told me they are pinned in and not pressed in. I want to change them to HIVIZ Litewave. Any links or info appreciated!

I need to know how this is done too. With my old eyes, I need the HiViz. On the Ruger website it says, "with drift adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight". Did you by chance look on the inside of the slide, to see if there is anything there, such as a "pin"? The Owners Manual on pages 26 - 27 has the information that we need it seems.

Yes I looked at the front sight. It kind of looks like there's a tiny tiny hole under the sight. This woman from Shop Ruger said it gets punched out...but who knows for certain.

Right now the Hi Vis Tritium is the best and maybe only option. The rear sight is easy, remove the set screw and push out. The front sight has a roll pin, just use a sight pusher and it pushes out easily. The front sight is a very tight fit on my security 9. It took a little sanding off bottom to get it started, then tapped in with a nylon punch and hammer. Great final outcome.
