I have heard folk using nail polish, but any hobby paint should do the trick.

 

Wipe area to be touched with alcohol prep,any nail polish will do,I have used it for the white outline on my guns.

 

I just read OP's other post, I would be sending the gun back to Ruger if it was mine.
Questions: Did you check the gun out thoroughly before you left the store? Was it discounted in any way because it was marked? Did you buy as is?

 

I actually used the same touch up paint from my black maxima, came out good enough

 

Are the sights metal?? You are talking about the mark on the lower left then if it metal I'd try some cold blue on a Q-Tip.

 

Try a Sharpie permanent marker. Color is near perfect.

 

Make sure that your gun cleaning solvents will not degrade/destroy all your hard work . . .

 

James6591, My gun guy is actually getting me a new gun because of all the other issues vs. sending back to Ruger. We were in a little hurry when picking up the guns and didn't really have time to break them down there.. The light was not that great and we really didn't notice until we cleaned them. My friends guns is all good except for the paint job on he rear site and he just wants to touch up vs sending to Ruger.
