Have one on my winchester 94, great scope, lifetime transferrable warranty, no issues, clear glass. I recommend them. Own 2, one on the winchester, one on my mini 30. I feel it's perfect for the distance the 30/30 is designed for.

Well the 30mm's advantage is over 100 moa of adjustment which means minimum 50 moa left and right, up and down from dead center. The 1" tube is maybe 40 or 50 moa at the most, 20 or 25 moa left right, up and down adjustment from dead center. So it can be used for longer distances, or if you need that adjustment to zero the gun.

Biggest reason I went that route is that my factory irons cannot be zeroed, too far left and high. So I tried a fastfire 3, it did well but I need more magnification. so I went with the 1-4Ă—24 which allows close shooting like a red dot, but 4x magnification for distance shooting. It may look strange to some, however it was the only few choices to be able to use and be accurate with the rifle.

Also have several of the strikefire 1 and 2 red dots, and a crossfire red dot on AR's. Have the Viper PST FFP 6x24x50 EBR illuminated on my barrett 99 in 50bmg. I have only had 1 of the strikefires go bad, gen 1. Sent them an email, they sent me a shipping label, I returned it, they shipped me a brand new gen 2 in its place. No questions asked. They are a great company.

Had an Eotech 512 go bad, couldnt be repaired, They gave me a 1/2 price discount on a new one, but still paid $250 to replace it. Wish their warranty was like vortex is.
