My new Burris Fastfire C arrived today. I must say I am 100% happy and impressed. Some specs. It fits an RMSc cut, it has a 6MOA dot that is very easy for me to see without my glasses. Glass-reinforced polymer body, the same as the gun's frame keeps the weight to 0.44oz. Super clear coated glass lens. 5 brightness settings plus an auto mode that actually works well and is controlled from a single button on the left side. It has 80 MOA of elevation and windage adjustment plus a 1° shim (60 MOA) if needed. It comes with a weather seal and runs on a single bottom load CR2032 that is rated for 25,000 hrs of life on medium. it has a textured hood over the top of the glass to protect the glass and aid in manipulation off the front of the optic. It also comes with a removable rear sight for those guns that lose the rear sight with the optics plate.

When I bought my Shield Plus I bought a Holosun EPS Carry to go with it and could not get it to zero at all. I would run out of elevation adjustment. This is because S&W cuts a slope into their optic cut, making it difficult to zero some optics.
Out of the box, the Fastfire C was close but needed a little elevation to get the dot to sit right on top of the front sight. It will most likely require some fine-tuning at the range but should be very close. Surprisingly I did not need to use the shim. I tried it with just the sight and weather seal and I should be good to go. So far I would recommend it. I will let you all know if I see any issues or something I don't like.

That's a good looking set up! Your gun may shoot high if you brought the red dot down to set right above the front sight. Had a buddy bring his new Redfield red dot over to shoot on my range and that's what his did. Was about a foot high at 15 yards setting it up like that.

His ended up being at least 1/2" above the front sight when we finally got it dialed in.

Kind'a makes me want one, but then I'd have to buy another gun set up for RDS. I've got a few I've never even fired yet, so I'm going to wait.

Have fun with it!

This is my 3rd handgun with a dot. I have an older Sig P320 RX Compact that came with a Romeo One, a Shadow Systems MR920 Combat that is currently wearing a Vortex Viper, and now this Shield Plus. On the P320 and MR920, the dot is sitting just above the front post and is right on at 12 yards. I normally shoot between 3yds and 25yds. I find every time I start where my dot currently is, I head to the range make some small adjustments, and end with it right on the money. I typically use an "Absolute Co-witness" though some prefer a lower 1/3 co-witness.
These are typical types of co-witnesses you can use.
