Picked up an LCP max a last month and I tried the soft pocket carry holster that comes with the pistol as well as an Alabama pocket holster that came with the pistol I purchased. Those two options didn't work for me.
I bought a "tuckable" IWB holster shown below from Roundedgear. Not sure how I like it so far, thinking about options and wondering what others use and the pros and cons you all have with your choice(s).
The one above with the LCP Max is of course lighter than my usual EDC a G43X, but almost exactly as wide in the holster so not really "tuckable" unless I want to explain the large growth on my hip under my tucked in shirt. The clip is nice in that is grabs the pants well and doesn't need a belt, but it's also too thick to wear a belt on the outside of the holster and clip. The holster does secure the pistol very well.
I'm thinking about trying a thinner option, possibly the first below which is from the same vendor as above or the Zero Carry below it. Both are thinner, but they expose the slide which may introduce the possibly of sweat/water damage. Leaning towards the first one below as the clip can be swapped and I'm thinking a Utiliclip might be a thinner option for under the belt.
